"Evangelism in a time of "Quiet Revival

Many of us will have seen the findings of the Bible Society’s “Quiet Revival” Report earlier this year. Many of us have also seen firsthand evidence with new people attending church with whom we’ve had little or no contact. But how do we make best use of the opportunities that we are presented with? How do we shape our ministry, our outreach and our prayers?

To help us better understand how we can serve Christ in this moment, the Suffolk Gospel Partnership is putting on an event with Nick McQuaker who works for A Passion for Life. Nick will help us make better sense of the increased spiritual interest we are seeing across the country. But more than that Nick will help us think how to share the gospel well in this current season.

We hope that these morning of training will help both those churches who are planning to make use of A Passion for Life and those churches that aren’t. There will be plenty of lessons that will shape our evangelism and church ministry outside of the mission opportunities A Passion for Life will present.

The event is happening on Tuesday 13 January at Mickfield Evangelical Church. It will start with refreshments at 10am, before two sessions in the morning and ending with lunch together.

Women's Conference 2026

Join hundreds of women from across the East of England for an inspirational day exploring Bible themes of the wonder of Jesus and why we should keep persevering in our faith because of Him.

Lizzy Smallwood, (Bible teacher, pastor’s wife, mum and art teacher) will be teaching from Hebrews, encouraging us to press on in the Christian race despite the struggles and disappointments of life. There will also be opportunity to sing together, pray, attend seminars on relevant topics, browse our brilliant bookstall and connect with others.

Wherever you’re from, we’d love for you to join us. Big church, small church, out on the coast, from a rural village or a city dweller. Whether you’re new to following Jesus or have been trusting him for years. Young, old, feeling full of faith or empty and dry. Come on your own or come with a group. All are welcome!
